Of course, if you have it plugged into your car's cigarette lighter, you can travel clear across the country without having that worry. Retail price for the D1708 should be just below $200. perhaps less if ordered online. For the price and for its capabilities you will find the D1708 to be a strong competitor with other leading portable DVD players.
